Instructions to Authors
The Journal of
Pharmacy and Clinical Sciences (JPCS) is an international journal in English published
quarterly.JPCS will accept the following
contributions: Original research articles; reviews; mini reviews; short communications;case
reports, letters to the Editors in
all the areas of pharmaceutical and clinical sciences. Papers written in English
will only be considered.
Evaluation of submitted articles is free of cost but
iff
submitted manuscript is accepted after double blind peer review, the author has
a submit publication dues via our
online payment system
to get the manuscript published in
Journal of Pharmacy and Clinical Sciences
. Current paper publication / processing dues are $85 and are universally
applicable,that includes publication of article and postal mail delivery of pulished
copy of journal.
Cover Letter
During submission of the article, a cover letter should be included having authors
full address and telephone/fax number. The type of article (Research or Review)
along with the title. The corresponding author
should mention the undertaking that if any animal studies carried was in accordance with
their country or institutional ethical committee and also state that the manuscript has not
been published elsewhere or considered for publication by any other
journal. The covering letter should send separately
to the editor by email.
Research Article
These articles should clearly describe new and carefully confirmed results and experimental
procedure which should be given in required details
for others to verify the work. The article
can be up to 3000 words excluding references and abstract.
The authors have to check the
manuscript extensively grammatical and spelling mistakes
before submission. The
manuscript should be prepared in English using “MS Word” Type area on a page
is standard Letter( 8.5'' x 11''). All text should be fully justified. Margins for
this type area: top 0.38'', bottom 0.25''; left 1'', right 1''.
“Times New Roman” font should be
used. The font size should be of 10pt to all main
and subheadings. All plants species and
microorganism's scientific names should be written
in italic.
Title Page
The title should appear on a separate page which should then followed by the author
name
and the institution name and address by indicating
suitable superscripts. Title page should
contain title of the paper in bold face, title case
(font size 14), names of the authors in bold
face, title case (font size 10) followed by the address
(es) in normal face, title case. An
asterisk (*) must be placed after the corresponding authors
name as superscript whose email
id, fax, telephone number can be given at the bottom left
corner of the title. Corresponding
author has the responsibility to ensure that all co authors
are aware and approve the contents
of the submitted manuscript.
Abstract:
This section should start on a new page and should not more than 250 words and structured
under the following headings: Objectives, material
and methods, Results and Conclusions.
Reviews and mini reviews also require an abstract, but it
need not be structured. Abstract
must be followed by four-six keywords.
Introduction:
The Manuscript should include brief introduction and indicates aim of the study
and the
essential back ground information. Introduction should
clearly state the hypothesis or purpose
statement, how and why the purpose or hypothesis was
developed and why the author deems
it important.
Materials and Methods:
This section must contain specific details about the materials studied, instruments
used,
specialized chemicals source and related experimental
details which allows other research
worker to reproduce the results. Obtain permission for all
fully borrowed, adapted, and
modified tables and provide a credit line in the footnote.
Results:
The important results of the work should be clearly stated and illustrated where
necessary by tables and figures. The statistical treatment
of data and significance level of the
factors should be stated wherever necessary. Data that is
not statistically significant need only
to be mentioned in the text - no illustration is necessary.
Discussion:
This section should
deal with the interpretation of results, making the readers to understanding of
the problem taken and should be logical. The discussion should state the scope of the results,
which need to be further explored.

Conclusions:
Concisely summarizes the principal conclusions of the work and highlights the wider
implications. This section should not merely duplicate
the abstract.
Acknowledgements:
Acknowledgements should be brief but should include reference to sources of financial
support.

Tables and Figures
The table caption should be typed to the width of the table itself and typed above
the table. Text type of table caption should be 9 or 10 point Times Roman italic
(e.g., Table 1.Caption). Number the titles of the tables consecutively in the order
of their first citation in the text. Be sure that each table caption is headed as
“Table 1”, “Table 2”, etc. within each chapter. The choice of cover art illustration will
be made by the Editor.
Review Article
The review article is at the author’s discretion and maximum of 15 pages. Abstract
and key
words are required. Tables, figures, illustrations
and references are to be arranged according
to research papers.
Copyright Authors would be
required to sign Copy Right Transfer Agreement (CRTA)form once the
manuscript is accepted which would be sent to the
corresponding author’s email. The
corresponding author after getting CRTA by mail it has to
be signed by authors it can be send
as an attachment file after scanning to the editor by e mail.
Ethical Clearance
Authors involving in the usage of experimental animals and human subjects in their
research
article should seek approval from the appropriate
Ethical committee. In the method section of
the manuscript should include a statement to prove
that the investigation was approved and
that informed consent was obtained.
Article Proofs
Page proofs are sent to the designated author through e-mail. They must be carefully
checked
and returned the revised manuscript within 72 hours
of receipt. The authors are responsible
for the contents appeared in their published manuscripts.
