A COMPENDIUM OF PATTERN RECOGNITION TECHNIQUES IN FACE, SPEECH AND LIE DETECTION |
by Paola Andrea Noreña Cardona
|
Abstract |
Lie is a false
statement made with deliberate intent to deceive, this is intentional untruth. People
use different technologies of lie detection as Pattern recognition is a science
to discover if an individual is telling the truth or lying. Patterns can describe
some characteristics of liars, in this work to face and speech specifically. Face
recognition take patttern of face and speech recognition of voice or speech to text.
So this paper pretends realize a compendium on lie detection techniques and pattern
recognition face and speech. It permits
to review the actual state of the tecnhologies realized in these recognitions. Also
It presents an analysis of tecnhologies using some of these techniques to resum
the result.

IDENIFICATION OF Candida albicans IN URINARY TRACT INFECTION BY USING POLYMERASE CHAIN REACTION TECHNIQUE |
by Ashti Mohammad Amin Said |
Abstract |
Objectives: Candida albicans is an opportunistic
fungal pathogen which causes urinary tract candidiasis in humans. In this research,
we tried to investigate the detection of
C. albicans which caused Urinary Tract Infections in women's compared with
healthy subjects using PCR technique, and cultured on CHROM agar.
Methods:
In this study, two hundred urine samples from women patients, and hundred urine
samples without clinical signs of urinary tract candidiasis of gynecology clinical
in Erbil city will be selected. All the subjects were clinically assessed for studying
C.albicans infection. Then they are cultured
on CHROM agar. DNA extraction and PCR assay were done. Pearson of Chi –square was
applied to study possible correlations.
Results: The result of PCR was highly significant at p.value (0.0001).
The highest percentage of infection was 66.7% in female with abnormal general urine
examination.
Conclusions:
Candida albicans is positively associated
with urinary tract infection in women and detected by PCR technique.

LAPLACE TRANSFORM TECHNIQUE FOR PSEUDOHYPERBOLIC EQUATION WITH PURELY NONLOCAL CONDITIONS |
by Djibibe Moussa Zakari, Pindra Nadjime & Tcharie Kokou
|
Abstract |
The aim of this paper is to present a Laplace transform technique for solving the
Three-Point Boundary Value Problem with an Integral condition for a Third-order
Partial Differential Equation. A Laplace transform technique is described for the solution of
the considered problem. Finally, we obtain the solution using a numerical technique
by inverting the Laplace transform.
